Jose's Suzuki Book 1 Recital

Jose has completed the first book in the Suzuki series! Here, he performs a selection of 10 pieces, from memory. Listen to that confident legato, especially in the last two pieces (Christmas Day Secrets and Musette) where he navigates two kinds of articulation at the same time. He worked REALLY hard on that! Congrats, Jose, and good luck in book 2!

This year, select students are participating in a Concerto Project. They will learn one or more movements of a concerto and perform it, from memory, with their teacher playing the orchestra part on the second piano.

Here are Iggy, Daniel and Lenox performing movements from George Anson's Kid Concerto. The movements are called "I'm Mad", "I'm Bad" and "I'm Glad." Enjoy!
